The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards are hosted annually to celebrate various location professionals outstanding and creative visual contributions in film, TV, movie commissions, and commercials.
Unsurprisingly, many of the most successful movies of 2024 have received a nomination, such as Oppenheimer, Dune: Part Two, and Killers of the Flower Moon.
Also, some of the biggest and best shows of the year have earned a nomination, including The Gentlemen, Bridgerton, The Gilded Age, Feud: Capotes vs. The Swans, and Masters of Air, to name a few shows.

When is the LMGI Awards 2024?
The LMGI Awards 2024 will be hosted from The Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
What are the Award Categories?
Seven awards will be presented to the winners at the LMGI Awards 2024. The award categories are:
- Outstanding Locations in a Contemporary Television Series
- Outstanding Locations in a Period Television Series
- Outstanding Locations in a TV Serial Program, Anthology, or Limited Series
- Outstanding Locations in a Contemporary Feature Film
- Outstanding Locations in a Period Feature Film
- Outstanding Locations in a Commercial
- Outstanding Film Commission

Who Will Win the Lifetime Achievement Award?
It was recently announced that Sue Quinn, a Supervising Location Manager, will win the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s award ceremony,
Sue has worked on various movies throughout her career, including many Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter films.
Who Will Win the Trailblazer Award?
The LGMI recently announced Bill Bowling will receive the Trailblazer Award at the 2024 award ceremony.
The respected location manager’s contributions have helped bring many films to life for more than five decades. He has worked on many box office successes, including Cloud Atlas (2012), Red Dragon (2002), Enemy of the State (1998), Saving Private Ryan (1998), and Beverly Hills Cop (1984), to name a few.
