Vanderpump Rules first aired in January 2013 as a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
For the past eleven seasons, the reality TV show has followed original cast member Lisa Vanderpump and the team at her various bars and restaurants, including Pump Restaurant, SUR Restaurant & Lounge, and Tom Tom, located in West Hollywood, California.
Despite the cast proving popular with audiences across the United States, the eleventh season was their last, as Lisa Vanderpump recently commented their stories “were closing up a little bit” and that it was “time to do something different.”
Due to the show’s popularity with fans across the United States and overseas, Bravo recently renewed Vanderpump Rules for a twelfth season, which will feature a brand-new cast.
The hit show will arrive on Bravo on December 2, 2025, and will air weekly on Tuesdays. If you miss an episode, you can stream it on Peacock the following day.
The New Cast
Vanderpump Rules has recently received a reboot to breathe new life into the popular franchise.
It is believed producers were eager to move in a new direction, as the Scandoval cheating scandal featured in previous seasons finalized an ending for the group.
As a result, the show has said goodbye to almost all its original cast members, including Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy, and Scheana Shay.
The only original cast member returning to Vanderpump Rules is Lisa Vanderpump, who will continue to oversee her various bars and restaurants, as well as her new staff.
The new cast will include:
- Venus Binkley – A SUR staffer
- Chris Hahn – A bartender and aspiring musician
- Jason Cohen – A server and budding actor (Chris Hahn’s cousin)
- Angelica Jensen – A new SUR staffer and an aspiring actress
- Audrey Lingle – A SUR staffer and an aspiring actress
- Natalie Maguire – The lead bartender
- Demy Selem – The SUR Manager and the longest-standing employee
- Marcus Johnson – A DJ and Kim’s boyfriend
- Kim Suarez – A SUR staff member with the goal of breaking into the entertainment industry
- Shayne Davis – A close friend of the staff who doesn’t work at SUR
Lisa Vanderpump recently expressed her appreciation for the original cast while celebrating the new members, commenting, “The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears, and everything in between. I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”
The Storylines
Fans can expect considerable drama and conflict in season 12 of Vanderpump Rules. For instance, Kim will need to navigate her on-again/off-again relationship with her DJ boyfriend, Marcus, causing drama to unfold between the group.
Lead bartender Natalie’s outburst at work leads to conflict with boss Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the staff.
Meanwhile, new SUR staffer Angelica makes an immediate impact, as she sets her sights on various men in the group, including Jason and Shayne, causing friction to arise.
The Special Tribute Episode
In addition to the upcoming release of season 12, fans can look forward to a special tribute episode of Vanderpump Rules.
