It has since become one of the most popular dating series in the United States, leading to ABC renewing the show for a 22^nd season, which is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

The network recently announced that Taylor Frankie Paul will be the new bachelorette. The 31-year-old mother of three stars in the Hulu reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and is a TikTok sensation.

Taylor will make history on the reality dating series, as she is the first Bachelorette to be chosen without appearing in The Bachelor franchise. It was a huge surprise for fans, who learned of her casting on the popular podcast Call Her Daddy.

Those who have watched Taylor Frankie Paul on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will be aware of her previous marriage and “soft swinging,” which was a huge scandal in her Mormon friendship group that became highly publicized.

The Production

Filming reportedly started on The Bachelorette in October 2025. It is believed production remained entirely in the United States to allow Taylor Frankie Paul to remain close to her three children.

ABC recently confirmed the 22^nd season was filmed in various locations across the US, including The Bachelor Mansion in Los Angeles, as well as Las Vegas and Colorado.

As Taylor hails from Utah, it is likely filming took place here to document her homelife as a single mother.

The New Air Date

Season 22 of The Bachelorette will have a different air date from past seasons. The dating series has recently moved from its traditional Monday night slot in the summer to a Sunday night air date each spring.
