Series 23 of Strictly Come Dancing has delivered with impressive performances, shocking withdrawals, and standout moments from this year’s all-star contestants.
Arriving on TV screens across the UK on September 27, 2025, the well-known celebrities have since wowed on the iconic dancefloor, with each hoping to win the Glitterball Trophy in the final.
While many fantastic couples are in the running, only one will cha cha their way to victory this season.
The competition might not be over, but you are likely already considering who will take home the title of Strictly Come Dancing champion for 2025.
Fortunately, you don’t have too long to wait, as the winning couple will be announced on the Strictly Come Dancing final, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025.
The Grand Final will be held at its traditional location, the George Lucas Stage 2 at BBC’s Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, North London, where it typically hosts the weekly live shows.

The Hosts
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will host the Strictly Come Dancing final on December 20, 2025.
The duo recently announced the 23rd season will be their last, but they will return to host the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special.
The Judges
Shirley Ballas serves as the Head Judge on the 2025 Strictly Come Dancing judging panel, and she is joined by Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.
While the experienced judges will score all three dances performed by the finalists, they will not determine who will lift the Glitterball Trophy in the Grand Final.
Unlike the weekly shows, the British public will decide the Strictly Come Dancing champion for 2025, and they can use the judges’ scoring as a guide.
Viewers can now only vote for their favorite couple on the BBC’s official website; however, you will need to register and sign in to a BBC Account to do so.
The couple with the highest number of public votes will be named the winner and will lift the iconic Glitterball Trophy, following in the footsteps of past champions, including Alesha Dixon, Harry Judd, Stacey Dooley, Kelvin Fletcher, and, most recently, Chris McCausland.
