Sentimental Value follows actress Nora and her sister Agnes, who are struggling with losing their mother while dealing with their absent father Gustav’s return to their lives.
The once-celebrated filmmaker is eager to cast Nora in a role for his comeback movie, but she refuses, causing him to offer the part to a Hollywood star. During filming in his home of Norway, Gustov attempts to repair the broken bond with his daughters.

Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World) plays the lead role of Nora, and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (A Beautiful Life) stars as her sister Agnes. Stellan Skarsgård (The Unbearable Lightness of Being) is the sisters’ absent father, Gustav.
