The Sanremo Music Festival 2025 will take place at the Teatro Ariston Theatre in Sanremo, Liguria, Italy, from February 11 to 15, 2025.
Who Will Host the Festival?
Carlo Conti, an Italian TV presenter, will host the 75th Sanremo Music Festival, as well as serving as the competition eventâs artistic director.
It is the fourth time Conti has hosted the event, as he presented the iconic festival in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Also, he will return as the main host and artistic director in 2026.

2024 will see the return of a separate Newcomersâ section, which fans will remember from 2021. Also, none of the entries will face elimination before the final.

How Does Voting Work?
Votes can be placed via three methods:
The voting process will differ over the five nights. For example, entrants are judged by the jury of the press room, web, and TV on the first night.
On the second night, half of the entrants are judged by a 50/50 split system of the jury of the radio and televoting, and the votes will be added to the first nightâs results. Two of the four newcomers are then judged by the three juries to determine the festivalâs first finalist.
On the third night, half of the entrants from the Big Artists and Newcomers are judged, similar to the previous night.
By the fourth night, the cover night is judged by a split system of two juries (33% each) and televoting (34%) to determine the Big Artist and Newcomer winners of the night.
On the fifth night, televoting is the only voting method, and the votes are added to the results from the first three nights of the festival. The top five will enter a final voting round using televoting and two juries to determine the Sanremo Music Festival 2025 winner.
What Will the Festivalâs Winner Earn?
Since 2015, the festivalâs winner will receive the right of refusal to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
