The US version of Lego Masters first aired in February 2020 and follows eleven teams of two who compete to create jaw-dropping builds from millions of LEGO bricks and win the huge prize pot and the Lego Masters Trophy.
The Brickmasters judge each creation, sending home one team each week until the winner is crowned in the finale.
Thanks to the reality competition series’ popularity, season six was recently renewed and will arrive on Fox in early 2026. Also, if you miss an episode of Lego Masters, you can stream it on Hulu the following day.
The sixth season will, however, be a little different, as Will Arnett has said goodbye to the show, with Nick Cannon replacing him.
The popular show will even feature in-person auditions for the first time in its history, allowing more people across America to compete against top amateur LEGO builders.
The Host
After five seasons on Lego Masters (US), Will Arnett has said goodbye to the reality competition series due to scheduling conflicts.
As a result, the much-loved host has been replaced by Nick Cannon. He is likely to prove a hit with audiences, as he has hosted various family-friendly TV shows, including the US version of The Masked Singer, and he previously hosted America’s Got Talent.
Due to his smooth, charismatic hosting style, he’s likely to breathe new life into the show, helping to keep it fresh and exciting for audiences over the coming seasons.
Nick Cannon expressed his excitement about joining Lego Masters as host in a recent statement.
He said, “I’m a huge fan of Lego Masters. It’s an honor to join the series and host another show with my FOX family. Season six, we’re bringing an action-packed hour full of family fun, passion, and, for the first time ever, in-person audition episodes. I can’t wait to see the insane creations and give away a big bag of money to the best of the best.”
The Brickmasters
Lego Masters fans will be thrilled to learn that Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Beard will return to judge this year’s amazing creations.
The official LEGO designers were recently confirmed as judges ahead of season six, as they attended in-person auditions alongside Nick Cannon in California.
The Format
Season six of Lego Masters will feature in-person auditions for the first time in the show’s history, helping the family-friendly series discover the best builders across America.
The auditions were reportedly filmed in June 2025 at LEGOLAND California Resort. It indicates that the Brickmasters and Nick Cannon will need to carefully choose from a large pool of amateur builders to determine the competing teams this year.
Once chosen, 11 teams of two will compete in the sixth season, completing various themed challenges set by the Brickmasters using the millions of LEGO bricks from the famous Brick Pit.
The skilled contestants will need to build their creations within a specific time limit before they are carefully evaluated by the Brickmasters for storytelling, technical skill, and creativity.
The team with the best build will receive the prestigious Golden Brick, and those with the weakest build will be eliminated from the competition.
The Prize
While Fox hasn’t confirmed the official prize for season 6 of Lego Masters, the winners have typically received the title of Lego Masters, the LEGO Masters trophy, and a $100,000 cash prize.
