Is it Cake? Holiday is based on the popular cooking competition series Is It Cake? that requires all-star contestants to create cakes of common objects that trick celebrity judges.
If the winner of each episode can decorate a cake that appears to be a convincing replica of a festive item, they will receive a share of the prize pot and a place in the finale.
However, the eagle-eyed celebrity guest judges will carefully analyse the holiday-inspired objects to identify the cake from the real items.
Following the success of season one in 2024, season two of Is It Cake? Holiday will return to Netflix on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
It will provide viewers with six festive episodes full of Christmas-inspired bakes, celebrity judges, and hilarious moments that are bound to put a smile on your face during the holidays.
Due to the family-friendly show’s popularity, the festive special will return for a third season in 2026, too. However, you will need to wait patiently for an official release date from Netflix, which is likely to arrive on the streaming platform in Christmas 2026.
The Challenge
The all-star contestants will return to the festive special to create hyper-realistic cakes of specific holiday objects. It’s their goal to fool the celebrity judges who will view the tasty creation alongside the items.
The Host
Saturday Night Live’s Mikey Day will return to host season two of Is It Cake? Holiday. He has hosted every episode and the festive specials of Is It Cake? since the show premiered on Netflix in March 2022.
According to the much-loved host, “the stakes, the bakes, and the cakes are better than ever,” suggesting you can expect an exciting competition this November.
