The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, also known as Hispano Chamber, launched the Hispanic Heritage Awards to shine a spotlight on the best businesses and individuals in Albuquerque and across the state of New Mexico.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the people and companies that are having a positive economic impact in New Mexico and are adding to the business community’s cultural diversity.

When and Where Are the Hispanic Heritage Awards 2024?
The Hispanic Heritage Awards 2024 will be hosted at Hotel Albuquerque on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6 pm. It will shine a spotlight on the hard-working businesses, organizations, and individuals who help make up the New Mexico community.
What are the Award Categories This Year?
The Hispanic Heritage Awards aims to celebrate the best business owners and organizations in the community and award them for their hard work and contributions.
The ceremony will comprise of the following 12 award categories:
- New Business of the Year
- Health & Wellness Business of the Year
- Technology Business of the Year
- Women-owned Business of the Year
- Arts & Culture Organization of the Year
- Native Owned Business of the Year
- International Business of the Year
- Non-Profit Organization of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Hospitality Organization of the Year
- Hispanic Owned Business of the Year
- Business Person of the Year
How Does the Voting Process Work?
The general public can vote for their favorite businesses, organizations, or individuals on the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce’s website.
It will ensure that the most popular and respected businesses in the community rightfully receive each award. However, you can only cast your vote once per day per email.
Who Are This Year’s Sponsors?
Every year, the Hispanic Heritage Awards secures sponsorship for each awards category. By doing so, it enables each sponsor to grow their company’s brand awareness, secure new clients/customers, and attend the award ceremony.
Different sponsorship packages are available to suit brands of all sizes. For instance, the Cultura Sponsorship package is available for $10,000. It provides enhanced visibility on event material, inclusion in photo galleries and recap videos, a VIP table for ten guests, and more.
Alternatively, the Heritage (Presenting Sponsor) Sponsorship package includes a two-minute speaking opportunity, the presentation of the New Business of the Year award, two VIP tables for ten guests, enhanced visibility on event materials, and an option to provide attendees with branded items, plus more.
Also, there is a smaller Amigo package for smaller marketing budgets, as it is available for $2,500 and includes a table for ten and a company name listing on various materials, such as the event’s website and digital program.
