Who Votes for the Nominees?
The Gotham TV Awards nominees and winners are voted for by a committee of industry professionals carefully chosen by the Gotham Film & Media Institute.
The committee is comprised of writers, TV critics, journalists, directors, producers, and programmers who have extensive experience in TV and streaming.
However, the committee can only vote for shows that:
- Have been released on TV channels or streaming platforms in the United States
- Premiered from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.
- Suit the award category, such as a scripted comedy series, drama, or limited series, etc.
- Performers appearing in 50% or more episodes, credited, and in a leading or supporting role.
Who Are the Creature Tribute Award Recipients?
The 2nd Gotham TV Awards will honor exceptional creatives in film and TV over the past 12 months.
The prestigious Creature Tribute Awards will be presented to US writers Daniel Palladino and Amy Sherman-Palladino, as the husband-and-wife duo have penned various hit TV shows together, such as the Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
