However, Conrad Greem, Dancing with the Stars’ showrunner, has defended her casting, commenting, “She’s a very valid and interesting part of that cast. Anna is fascinating to a lot of people. There’s an inherent curiosity about her.”
How Much Do the Contestants Receive?
According to reports, most Dancing with the Stars contestants will receive a starting figure of $125,000, which requires them to train for a minimum of 20 hours each week and perform on the show.
Also, they will receive an additional $10,000 for each week they remain on the show, providing an incentive to perform well and secure audience votes.
The contestants who reach week five will receive an extra $15,000 per week, and those who make it to weeks six and seven will receive $20,000 per week.
Also, they will earn $30,000 per week if they are talented enough to reach weeks eight and nine.
Once they reach the semi-finals and finale, they will receive an extra $50,000 per week.
