Alone Australia will conclude with a double episode on June 4, 2025, revealing the season three winner.
How Much Will the Winner Receive?
Like seasons one and two, the winner of Alone Australia season three will win an incredible $250,000 in prize money.
Where Was Alone Australia Filmed?
The third season of the hit survival show was filmed in the West Coast ranges of Tasmania, which is often referred to by its indigenous name of Lutruwita.
This year’s contestants will have no choice but to endure the challenging terrain of dense forests, wild rivers, and jagged mountain peaks.
While the series was shot during summer, the Tasmanian winter remains cold, cloudy, and wet during the season, providing each contestant with brutal living conditions.
How Many Contestants Appear in Season 3?
The third season of Alone Australia started with five men and five women attempting to win the $250,000 prize money.
This year’s survivalists have diverse backgrounds, including an English teacher, a farmer, a professional trapper, an expedition leader, and a former BMX champion.
The contestants are dropped into an unknown area where they’ll have to build a shelter, source food and water, and potentially build an alliance with other survivalists to ensure they win the competition.
The only way to leave the show is to tap out, medically withdraw, or be the last person standing.
What Items Can Contestants Take with Them?
Every contestant was allowed to choose ten items from a pre-determined list to ensure their survival and be the last person standing, meaning the belongings could shape their success in the show.
Contestants will have carefully thought about their needs before entering the brutal challenge. For example, they may have chosen to take a sleeping bag, hunting gear, and cookware, to name a few items.
Also, each survivalist will receive a basic first aid kit, clothes, a safety pack, and a small number of survivalist tools to protect their health and well-being during filming.
Unlike other survival shows, the contestants will not have access to a camera crew and will self-film their journeys.
How Many Episodes Does the Third Season Have?
Alone Australia season three will feature 12 episodes. The first two episodes aired on the show’s premiere date on March 27, 2025, and the finale will have a double episode.
