The first Country Music Awards, also known as the CMAs, were held in 1967 to honor the most outstanding achievements in country music.
The iconic event was televised for the first time in its history a year later, entertaining audiences with award presentations and unmissable performances from the biggest names in the genre.
It is arguably the most prestigious night in country music, with many artists, groups, and duos eager to take home a CMA Award Trophy, which is made from hand-blown, Italian fine crystal that’s assembled in Nashville.
The 2025 Ceremony
After successfully co-hosting the 2024 CMAs alongside fellow country star Luke Bryan and NFL icon Peyton Manning, CMA winner Lainey Wilson will return to front the ceremony solo on November 19, 2025.
“Country music’s biggest night” is set to return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the fifth year in a row.
The prestigious ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC, or you can stream the event the next day on Hulu.
